Beatrice Stelzmüller has been teaching my children piano for the past 8 years.
It has been a pleasure to observe Ms. Stelzmüller’s growth from a young, accomplished, and international pianist to a well-rounded and mature teacher. Her motivation and dedication to her students is exemplary and she combines a strict musical pedagogy with a playful and gentle approach.
She encourages her students to participate in competitions and musical exams to further motivate them, organizes concerts for the students to perform, and recently has branched out into her own private music camps that my sons have been able to attend. Her music camps are exceptionally well organized, with a variety of activities and classes, and the children look forward to each lesson with her.

Beatrice has been teaching the piano to my eight-year-old for four years now. She is everything that I have been looking for in a music teacher for my child. Beatrice is instinctively a natural with children. She knows how to engage them during lessons and how to motivate them to want to play better. My daughter is always focussed in their 1.5hour long sessions. As with the learning of all musical instruments, establishing a solid foundation in technique is of crucial importance. Yet, correct posture and finger/arm positioning are neither skills that can be perfected overnight, nor areas that can hold a child’s interest for long in the course of a lesson. Beatrice is able to motivate my daughter to want to achieve all of the above, by using interesting analogies that children can easily relate to and remember. In the last two years, Beatrice has also emphasised the importance of musical expression. As a result of this, my daughter has learned to play in a musical way and more importantly, she understands the importance of giving her own interpretation to each piece. Beatrice is also extremely encouraging and patient: qualities that enable a positive and loving learning environment and the development of a strong and respectful teacher-student bond. With Beatrice's formidable musical pedagogy and her innate ability to connect with her students, I am confident that my daughter will develop a lifelong passion for the piano.
